If your friends are too busy, or if you can’t find a common time slot, take advantage of a shared visit by reserving your individual ticket. I regularly offer themed tours, with a meeting place and time, so it’s no longer up to you to organize your cultural outing. Join the energy of the group !

How do the guided tours work ?

Reservations and tour schedule

1.

The online catalog lets you view the range of shared tours on offer.

2.

You have the option of choosing one of the shared tours in the program. The tour description, meeting place and time are given on the tour page. The target audience is specified in the tour description. The content is often not suitable for children under 8, but all ages are welcome ! Marbre & Pastel is kid-friendly. While most tours are aimed at young people and adults, some are for families, children and even nursing mothers !

3.

You have the option of paying for your individual visit online, and you can of course buy several tickets for your friends or family. Please note that the price of admission to the museum is not included in the tour price (except in exceptional circumstances). You’ll need to buy a ticket online at the same time, at the agreed time of your visit. All you have to do is wait until the big day !

4.

You will receive a reminder in your mailbox the day before with logistical information about the visit.

5.

We meet at the meeting point. Once inside the museum, the tour can begin! I’ll guide you.
Depending on the venue, audiophones are available. They’re included in the price.

6.

At the end of the tour, feel free to ask any questions you may have. And after the visit, share your opinions and feedback with me !

You choose a visit from the catalog and the time slot that suits you, according to my availability. We talk, and I adapt to your wishes, your parents or children, and your pace, to create a unique experience. One price per visit, bookable online, for up to 6 people. If you are a larger group or a company, please contact me directly.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can you offer me an off-catalogue tour ?

It's possible, but we need to discuss it. Either I create it for you and it will be in the catalog, or I can't and I'll put you in touch with my fellow tour guides.

Can a shared tour be made into a private tour ?

It's perfectly possible ! The shared tour is certainly presented in the "private tours" section of the website, but if this is not the case or if you would like more information, please do not hesitate to contact me directly by telephone, via the form or my e-mail address helene@marbretpastel.com.

How far in advance of my visit should I make a reservation ?

Private tours should be booked as early as possible. Guides must reserve speaking rights with museums or monuments, and this can take time (sometimes 1 month in advance!). For shared tours, if space is available, you can register up to 2 hours before the tour.

Are shared tours suitable for children ?

Shared tours are for adults. However, children aged 12 and over with an aptitude for the site or the theme of the tour are welcome to join in. Please note that it is necessary to purchase a place for the guided tour, as well as admission for the child.

Who can attend a shared tour ?

All ages are welcome for a shared visit, but I'd advise you to invite children over 8, or even over 10, so that they can enjoy the visit. Please note that you'll need to buy a ticket for the guided tour, as well as a museum entrance ticket for all the children (which is sometimes free).

Is it suitable for people with disabilities ?

Private tours are accessible to people with disabilities. However, depending on your disability and the location of the tour, it's best to inform me in advance so that I can make the best possible logistical arrangements. Shared tours are not always suitable, depending on your disability and the location. I am available to discuss your requirements and do my utmost to adapt.
